We Service Homes and Apartments in Meridian Hills
The Meridian Hills is a community located on the northern side of Indianapolis and is adjacent to the community of Williams Creek. The town provides easy access to the Monon Trail, Holliday Park, Marott Park, Nora, and Broad Ripple. Right now, the Town of Meridian Hills is home to about 1800 residents, and 715 homes.
It was during the early 1920s that residential construction started in town and in 1923, the town witnessed the opening of the Meridian Hills Country Club. However, it was only in 1937 that the town was incorporated. Starting in 1970, the town was considered as an “included town,” as it became a part of Unigov. While it is now a part of Indianapolis, it still continues to be a town government under IC 36-3-2-5. Thus, the town can levy taxes and pass ordinances, and also appoint its own police officers.
Wealthy and upper-middle-class families are attracted to this relaxed residential neighborhood that is also home to winding streams and hilly terrain. A sense of community can be felt throughout the town’s churches, synagogues, schools as well as a country club. The schools in the region are Park Tudor School, Saint Luke Catholic School, and Washington Township Schools. Religious organizations in the town include the First Congregational Church, Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation Saint Luke Catholic Church, and Second Presbyterian Church.
Local residents will be familiar with the Meridian Hills Country Club, a golf course and event space for community meetings, weddings, family and non-profit events.
